European Institute of Applied Science and Management (EIASM), Czechia, and Kokand State University, Uzbekistan, are establishing a Czech-Uzbek AI Smart Center to deliver comprehensive training in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science.
The new educational center will serve a few hundred students through both full-time and online programs, offering dual-level instruction for secondary and university students. The facility will feature state-of-the-art AI/ML infrastructure capable of supporting large language models, concurrent student projects and advanced machine learning applications.
Total anticipated investment stands at approximately $385,000, covering hardware infrastructure, computing workstations, GPU servers, operating costs and ongoing program development. The center will leverage educational grants from major cloud providers (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) and utilize industry-standard open-source technologies to maximize cost-effectiveness.
This partnership will help position Uzbekistan as a regional leader in AI education while supporting the country’s digital transformation goals and creating high-value employment opportunities for graduates.
