On December 10, 2025, EIASM welcomed guests from Kokand State University in Uzbekistan for a lecture led by Petr Hájek, Ph.D., with the topic “Compliance in Higher Education – Implementation Toolkit for Uzbek Universities”.
Mr. Hájek guided participants through 3-tier governance structure: compliance committees at senior management level, departmental coordinators for each faculty and operational compliance officers for daily processes. The lecture covered accreditation processes with evidence repository establishment, standardized self-assessment procedures and continuous quality assurance systems. Students learned about internal control systems implementation, HR compliance frameworks, academic ethics management and digital compliance with data protection protocols.
Particularly interesting was the 8-week implementation timeline with concrete steps, from gap analysis through governance development to full system deployment. The workshop taught the students how to implement specific tools including templates, charters and job descriptions tailored for higher education institutions.
This international collaboration demonstrates EIASM’s support of global education and development of partnerships that strengthen our institutional quality.
