Selected business programs at the European Institute of Applied Science and Management (EIASM) have received specialized accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). The IACBE Board of Commissioners approved the application in July 2026. The accreditation period runs from 29 July 2026 to 31 July 2033.

What the decision recognises
IACBE accreditation follows a structured process that includes institutional self-evaluation, independent peer review and a formal decision by the Board of Commissioners. The review considers whether approved business programs comply with the IACBE Accreditation Principles.
That process matters to us because it tests the work behind a program, not simply the way it is presented. Curriculum, learning outcomes, assessment and continuous improvement all need to form a coherent system. Accreditation does not replace our own responsibility for academic quality; it adds an external review of that work.

Why this matters to EIASM
EIASM was built for people who remain active in their profession while studying. Flexibility is therefore part of the design of our programs, but it cannot come at the expense of clear academic expectations. The IACBE review gives us an external reference point for maintaining that balance in the approved business programs.
It also gives our academic and administrative teams a shared framework for the less visible part of education: reviewing learning outcomes, examining evidence and deciding what needs to improve. This is ongoing work. The accreditation decision recognises the system in place, while the period through 2033 carries an obligation to keep that system active.
What the accreditation means for prospective students
For prospective students, IACBE accreditation adds prestige and a valuable level of quality assurance when comparing business programs. It shows that the programs within the approved scope have completed a rigorous self-evaluation and independent peer-review process against the IACBE Accreditation Principles.

How IACBE and ASIC differ
