From June 1-10, 2026, European Institute of Applied Science & Management hosted an inspiring seminar-training titled “The European Approach to Gender Equality, Women’s Entrepreneurship Development and Financial Inclusion” in Prague, welcoming female professionals from leading Uzbek financial institutions.
Participants from commercial banks, leasing and consulting companies – including Uzbek Leasing International A.O., Taiba Finance, Benefit Finance and Microcreditbank – explored how European Union countries advance gender equality through legal and institutional mechanisms.
The program covered practical strategies for increasing women’s economic participation, expanding access to financial services and leasing products, and developing gender-responsive financial solutions. Participants examined the role of international financial institutions in supporting small businesses, the importance of public-private partnerships and European best practices in improving women’s financial literacy.
Through experience-sharing sessions, discussions and hands-on workshops, attendees learned about innovative approaches that promote inclusive economic growth and empower women entrepreneurs across diverse communities.
