On June 16-17, 2026, EIASM hosted a two-day lecture for a short-term student group focused on “Modern Corporate Lending and the Development of Innovative Banking Products in the Context of Digital Transformation”.

Martin Svoboda presented on the topic of “Innovation Banking Instruments”, talking about how banking has shifted from its focus on historical data toward a role as a strategic partner for business development. Participants explored how artificial intelligence, data analytics and automated monitoring are transforming risk management and project oversight.

A central theme was the financing of investment projects. Students learned how to distinguish between the creditworthiness assessment used in corporate financing and cash-flow focus of project financing. The importance of ESG principles and sustainable finance was emphasized as components of risk assessment and regulatory compliance.

Mr. Svoboda highlighted the Czech Republic’s economic stability as well as the role of banking sector in raising the regional growth and attracting foreign investment. Students understood the banking’s future as a digitally-integrated system which supports economic modernization and infrastructure development.
