How can artificial intelligence transform the everyday work of an insurance professional? Students from our short-term course “Effective Use of IT and AI in Insurance Product Sales: European Experience and Practices in the Czech Republic” explored exactly that question.

Jindřich Čadík, Ph.D. delivered a lecture on “The Use of Generative AI in an Advisor’s Work”, where he demonstrated how tools like ChatGPT can revolutionize client management. Students learned to analyze client databases, segment leads based on life events, and prioritize service schedules through data-driven scoring systems.

The lecture focused on enhancing meeting preparation and client communication, showing how AI can clarify complex insurance topics and automate time-consuming administrative tasks. Dr. Čadík stressed the importance of maintaining strict data privacy and human oversight, while keeping AI as a capable assistant rather than a replacement for real professionals.

Students gained a structured framework for shifting from reactive service to proactive client care, together with practical skills to thrive in a technology-driven insurance marketplace.
