Lectures: Mastering Procurement and Sustainability

2. 4. 2026

In February 2026, EIASM welcomed another group of international students for a specialized short-term course focusing on “Organization of Procurement Processes and Mechanisms for Effective Procurement Management in European Countries”.

The course about procurement process and management explored comprehensive procurement frameworks including strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, contract management, and risk mitigation strategies. It continued with the best practices across European countries, tender procedures, public procurement regulations, and effective cost management techniques essential for modern organizational success.

The course ESG in finance and corporate strategy taught about ESG principles and their transformative impact on global finance: how ESG risks like climate change are integrated into banking regulations and investment decisions. Key European directives including CSRD and EU Taxonomy were examined as tools for standardizing sustainability reporting and preventing greenwashing. Students discovered how green bonds and climate finance drive the transition toward carbon neutrality, understanding that sustainability has evolved from voluntary corporate responsibility to mandatory legal compliance.

The program gave our students practical knowledge connecting procurement excellence with sustainability requirements – essential skills for navigating today’s business landscape.
