On December 9, 11 and 16, 2025, EIASM hosted a compliance lecture led by Mrs. Drahomíra Kubelová, a distinguished expert in compliance, AML, FATF standards and internal control systems. The topic “Regulatory Requirements to the Organization of Internal Control in Banks and Credit Unions” provided students with essential knowledge about banking compliance frameworks.

Mrs. Kubelová examined compliance as an integral component of banks’ control systems, covering regulatory requirements and real-world applications. Students learned about Czech National Bank (ČNB) supervisory roles, management responsibilities, sanctions frameworks and international standards established by European Banking Authority (EBA) and Basel Committee.

The compliance lecture was complemented by an anti-corruption workshop focused on one of the most critical challenges facing organizations worldwide. Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, participants explored corruption prevention, ethical decision-making, transparency mechanisms and global best practices in governance across different countries and sectors.

At EIASM, we provide learning experiences that go beyond theory, equipping future leaders with the knowledge and values needed to create positive impact worldwide. EIASM welcomed important guests from Kokand State Pedagogical University in Uzbekistan, highlighting the international significance of compliance and anti-corruption education.
